The production process of nylon zipper
Nylon zipper is the most commonly used type of zipper, usually composed of nylon chain blanks and zinc alloy pulls. Before making nylon zippers, many pre production processes are required, which can help ensure the quality of the nylon zipper and facilitate subsequent processing.
1. Zipper chain teeth formingThe first step in making nylon zippers is to manufacture the chain teeth of the nylon zipper. The material of the chain teeth is mainly polyester chips, and the nylon monofilament made from them will be heated, toothed, and wrapped around the centerline of the zipper forming machine to make the chain teeth of the nylon zipper. This process, also known as "molding", is the most critical core process for the quality of nylon zippers. The high-quality chain teeth mesh end is formed with symmetrical tooth heads on both sides, with a single tooth shape in a U-shape.
2. Zipper tape manufacturing
The second step in the production of nylon zippers is to make the fabric tape for the nylon zipper. The yarn is neatly arranged and hung on a large yarn rack, and a series of weaves are carried out by a weaving machine to make the zipper fabric tape. Zipper tape is generally divided into two types: flat tape and ribbed tape. Flat tape is a fabric tape used for nylon zippers; Ribbons (weaving the core wire and fabric tape into one) are fabric tapes used for resin zippers or metal zippers.
3. Nylon zipper stitching
The third step in the production of nylon zippers is the sewing process, where the formed nylon chain teeth and fabric tape are placed on a zipper specific sewing machine for sewing, and combined into a complete nylon zipper.
4. Nylon zipper pre finishing
The fourth step in the production of nylon zippers is the pre finishing process. The just sewn nylon zipper will be uneven, so the zipper pre machine needs to undergo heating pre shrinking and degreasing processes to achieve stable zipper specifications and improve subsequent dyeing effects.
5. Organize packaging
The pre assembled nylon zippers (white zippers) will be packaged and stored for use in subsequent zipper manufacturing processes, and will also be sold directly. According to the needs of different customers, corresponding packaging methods will be selected, usually mainly using woven bags and diamond cages.
6. Zipper dyeing
If there is a need for dyeing nylon zippers, the master of the zipper factory will pack the corresponding nylon zippers and send them to the zipper dyeing factory for dyeing. Using a dyeing tank, the packaged nylon zippers after rolling will be dyed or degreased, and anti splash treatment will be carried out when customers need it.

From raw materials to zippers, every part needs to undergo strict quality inspection and operation to ensure the quality of the nylon zipper produced.
